CASEMENT WINDOWS

Wooden casement windows have evolved from years gone by when sandstone was used to form the mullions and transoms and steel were used inside to create openers where  nessasary.

Flush fit and stormproof windows are now widely used in homes, again a full variety of design can be achieved by adding Geogian bars, leaded lights and coloured glass.

Elegant design without that heavy look

This complements the 1920s period of this property and we have managed to regain the original look for another happy customer

This close up view of a flush fitting window below shows the difference in appearance with the above design

The Georgian style can be re-created with seperate panes as viewed here, or a smaller glazing bar can be achieved by applying the timber onto the glass

Architrave was fitted around window frames as per original windows.
